Better than ice cream!

More CAS cuteness from Penny Black : )

We are home from New Mexico!! We arrived tired and happy last night.  It was a wonderful trip and the weather was great : ) It was a little bit hard coming back to the snow and cold and it was also sad because as we drove in we were reminded again what a beautiful area we live in.  Bitter sweet as it is we are on to the next adventure : ) and planning to move before next winter.   We didn't find the perfect home to move to so we will need to keep searching but if the Lord makes a way we will be a lot warmer this time next year : ) woo hoo!! bring on the roadrunners! : )

Here is a card I created earlier this month for my kid brother. Who cares that he towers above me these days : ) but he'll always be Jr. to me!    He is a super good sport too! he had FIVE sisters! and no brothers to help him : )

Please visit the Penny Black Simplicity Blog! we love it when you do!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope your day is SWEET!

Adorable card Patti. Love the soft colouring of that sweet image and pairing it with the heart chain is perfect. All the best as you search for your new home in New Mexico. xx

Welcome home Patti! So glad you're safe and sound and able to get crafty again. This is one of my favorite images and you've colored it up just perfectly! So, so sweet!

Patti the card is adorable and I too have the stamp and have yet to use it.
I moved from the mountains (7,000 ft.) of So CA to the beach. I missed my mountain home, friends and the first snow, but not for long. Nothing says shorts and flip flop weather. Happy new adventures.

What a beautiful image of a brother and sister! I love how you colored it and added the heart border! Your brother will cherish it; I'm sure he's a good man with all those women in his life!!

I'm glad you are home safe and I wish you God speed to your new home in the sunshine, wherever that is exactly! You can always come back north for vacations and enjoy that beautiful area that way!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

This is such a sweet image, Patti, and I love the soft coloring. I'm sorry you didn't find a place. I know it's difficult to find something long distance.

What a sweet image!!! PB has the most adorable kids stamps! It must be a hard life as a only boy among five sisters!!! But I'm sure there are much more advantages too :)! Welcome back home!

Aw, you can certainly feel the love in that embrace! You're a natural scene maker with your card designs. Glad you're home safe again and hopefully will connect with just the right spot soon.

Welcome home! I hope you will soon find your new wonderful home in a warm climate so that you can continue to do what you love and feel great doing that! Your card here is delightful. Such an adorable image and colored beautifully! I will just bet he makes a wonderful husband! How could he not with all the help he got understanding women. :) I had the opposite situation. I grew up with five older brothers. LOL Have a wonderful weekend, my sweet friend!

Welcome home Patti!
Super cute card, I'm loving that image. My little sister is at least a head taller than me, and don't start me on my nephew - 14 and he's already miles taller than me!!
